General Conference of Faculty and Staff

The general conference of faculty and staff of the Business School was held at 25th, February. Professor ZHAO Shuming, Professor ZHANG Erzhen made arrangement of research and teaching activities in the new semester. Professor ZHAO especially emphasized the accreditation of the AACSB and EQUIS. He wanted that all faculty and staff should cooperate with the Office of Accreditation and Quality Improvement and make their contribution to the process. During this semester, the Business School will continue to carry out major research programs initiated and supported by the central government. It will send more faculty aboard to exchange ideas both in business research and education. The education program, including the MBA, EMBA, IMBA, MPAcc, etc. will be further strengthened by expanding the scale and improving the quality. The international cooperation will be promoted. The Business School will also invest more in hiring best faculty members, buying database and hardware to support research and teaching.

Professor QIAN Xiaojun from Tsinghua SEM talked about her experience during the AACSB and EQUIS accreditation. He pointed out that the clearly defined strategy, internal cooperation and the continuous improvement of research and teaching were the keys for success.
